
It's been a long time coming. Today we're opening a new front door for BCN Ideal Services, a website that finally reflects what we actually do for the international community in Barcelona, and the way we want to keep doing it.
Why we built this
For five years we've been quietly matching families with hand-picked housekeepers, nannies, tutors and personal assistants. The original site did the job, but it never quite captured the care behind the matches we make. So we started over.
The new site has three things we missed before:
- A real services page where you can see, in plain English, what's included in each service we offer.
- A process page that walks through exactly how we go from "tell us what you need" to a fully onboarded helper, including the legal and contracting work our team handles.
- A blog (this one) for sharing the things we learn about running a household in Barcelona, hiring international staff, and the work behind a five-star service.
What stays the same
Everything that matters. The Filipino-led team that built BCN Ideal Services is the same team you'll meet. The phone number is the same. WhatsApp still gets through to a human. Pricing is still bespoke, because every house and every family is different.
What's next
We'll be publishing posts every couple of weeks: practical guides for families settling in Barcelona, behind-the-scenes notes on how we hire and train, and stories from the people who do the work.
